Below you will find all the necessary information you may need to fully prepare yourself and your bike for a days racing with LEC.

RACING FORMAT

The racing format will comprise of 1 x 3 hour race straight though. 

On occasion if deemed necessary by the Clerk of the Course on the day the racing format may be changed.

This will be in circumstances such as inclement weather conditions or on the advice of medics due to Health & Safety of the riders and marshals.

You may enter a motorcycle of any CC, 2 or 4 stroke, Enduro or Motorcross in any class. There are no restrictions apart from rider ability.

The Trial Classic class is open to any rider, the machine must be older than 30 years and fall into 2 of the following categories:

* Twin Shock

* Air Cooled

* Drum Brake

Evo class must be any off road bike pre 1990's.

Pit Bikes, Quads and Sidecars are presently NOT allowed at any LEC events. 

The classes in the picture below will run in the 2022 season:

* Due to the number of entries in this class the class will be split between 2 stroke and 4 stroke machines.

** Orange hi viz bibs can be purchased from the club at a cost of £5.00 or you may use your own.

If you DO NOT have the correct coloured background and numbers you will NOT be allowed to race.

Rider numbers MUST be displayed clearly and be a minimum of 75mm.

PLEASE NOTE: If you enter into a class and your result is as fast as the top 5 in the class above the committee has the right to move you to the class above with immediate effect. The committee also has the right to move a rider into a different class at the end of the season if a rider has performed well in that class consistently.

YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO ENTER EVENTS IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID YOUR MEMBERSHIP FOR THE CLUB FOR THE SEASON. IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID YOUR MEMBERSHIP YOU MUST DO THAT FIRST TO ENABLE YOU TO ENTER EVENTS.


Please click on the link above to complete the LEC Membership form on the ACU webpage. Once this has been completed, contact Louise Burford  via email at lincolnshireenduroclub@aol.co.uk or private message on facebook to be issued with a race number and your ACU affliation code.

All information given is requested for contact details and rider safety purposes and will be kept confidential at all times under the GDPR.

There is a £25.00 annual membership fee due at the beginning of each year that is payable via the ACU website. You will then be issued with your membership card at booking in on the day of the race. No rider will be permitted to race without a paid membership card.

To secure you membership / race number from the previous year with LEC it is advised that membership be paid at the start of January each year.

You MUST specify you are a rider with LEC and give your race number or membership card to receive any of the above. 

Once you have paid for your LEC Membership on the ACU website please feel free to request to join our facebook page to keep up to date with other LEC members.

To book into our events please use the ACU website link above. Booking In will be closed on the Friday before the event at 6PM prompt. Entries will NOT be accepted on the day.

On Race Day

On arrival please book in with your ACU licence or a form of photographic identity and membership card.
You must have a race ready bike and helmet with a Gold ACU sticker. Once passed through scrutineering you will have your transponders fitted to your bike, then push your bike through to your appropriate spot on the start line. The race will then start at the allocated time.

POINTS SCORING, AWARDS AND PROMOTIONS

Each Round from 1 - 8 will receive 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards for each class, except for the Beginners Class. These awards can be collected at the next Race Event the following month.


Points will be awarded for places as follows in each class except the beginners class:

1st Place - 18,  2nd Place - 16, 3rd Place - 14, 4th Place - 12, 5th Place - 11, 6th Place -10, 7th Place - 9, 8th Place - 8, 9th Place - 7, 10th Place - 6, 11th Place - 5, 12th Place - 4, 13th Place - 3, 14th Place - 2, 15th Place - 1.

16th Place onwards no points are awarded.

These points awarded are counted towards the Lincolnshire Enduro Club Championship.


DROPPED ROUND

At the end of the season 1 x Round of points from the 8 rounds will be dropped for the finalised results and the results from 7 rounds will be counted. This round can be an absent round or the round with the worst points scored.

Championship trophies will be awarded on Presentation Night for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places within the Championship for all classes except the Beginners Class.

PROMOTIONS

All lap times of riders in the Beginners class are looked at and if deemed they are a more advanced rider the rider may be requested to be promoted to the relevant class for their skill level.

At the end of the season 1st Place in the championship results in classes Sportsman and Clubman will be promoted to the next level of advanced class.
